Under the JobKeeper Payment, businesses impacted by the Coronavirus will be able to access a government subsidy to continue paying their employees.
Affected employers will be able to claim a fortnightly payment of $1,500 per eligible employee (before tax) from 30 March 2020, for a maximum period of 6 months.
To access this payment, you will need to register your business here.
If you believe your business turnover will be reduced by 30% or more relative to a comparable period a year ago (e.g. March 2019 vs. March 2020), we suggest registering as soon as possible.
